Music Producer/Music Supervisor
Christopher is a music producer, orchestrator, arranger and conductor. He was orchestrator for the Broadway and London/West End productions of Porgy and Bess (2012 Tony Nomination – Best Orchestrations); Les Misérables (new orchestrations being used in all worldwide productions); Legally Blonde (Winner 2011 London Olivier Award for Best Musical); Cry Baby; Grease (2007 Revival); Do You Hear the People Sing? (Symphonic arena tour of Boublil/Schonberg) and Dessa Rose and A Man of No Importance (Lincoln Center - Flaherty/Ahrens).
Other orchestrations include Tom Jones (Stiles/Leigh); Chasing Nicolette; Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley's album Opposite You; Not Wanted On The Voyage (Bartram/Hill); Just So (Stiles/Drewe); additional orchestrations for the UK tour of The Witches of Eastwick; Rufus Wainwright sings Judy at Carnegie Hall; various orchestrations for Radio City Music Hall/Rockettes and symphonic orchestrations/arrangements and conductor for 12 year old child prodigy pianist and composer, Emily Bear. From 1996-2001, he was the resident conductor and orchestrator at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut where he worked on over 20 productions including the American premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber/Alan Ayckbourn's By Jeeves; Houdini; Mirette; Paper Moon and Lucky in the Rain. As assistant to orchestrator William David Brohn, Chris worked on the Broadway and the West End productions of Sweet Smell of Success; Ragtime; The Three Musketeers (Stiles/Leigh); The Witches of Eastwick; Mary Poppins and Wicked.
