I have not gone the way of the iphone.
But I appreciate those who have as it means they can capture Memphis before it drives down the street while standing in line for cupcakes.
May I be so bold as to say that Memphis is like the cupcake- taking New York by storm.
A few years after I left my high school where I had held the prestigious opportuity of being the Student Body President, my friend, Joe, also became Student Body President- Joe is essentially the illegitimate love child of Steve Martin, Conan O’Brien and a Care Bear- I think a lot of why he won the presidency was his charisma and his popular appeal- though he promised mechanical ants upon which students could ride to class.
Perhaps to celebrate our 100th performance one week from tonight, I might promise blog readers rides in mechanical cupcakes.
I wonder if the Shuberts will allow cupcakes races in Shubert alley?
Perhaps I should come up with a different way to celebrate the 100th…good thing I have a week to come up with a Plan B.
how about just cupcakes…no races, cupcakes at stage door…yeah, that sounds about right!
